Cookie Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026.
In short
This website only uses what is strictly necessary to work. Nothing that tracks you runs unless you accept it in the banner, and if you reject it everything still works: you can browse, buy a class and open your library.
What we mean by cookies
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage. We treat them all the same way, as Portuguese Law 41/2004 and the EU ePrivacy rules require.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work and do not require consent.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
selora_consent | This website | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner | Local storage | 12 months |
selora_access | This website | Remembers your access link on your device so your library opens without the email | Local storage | Until you clear your browser data |
selora_lesson_lang | This website | Remembers the language you chose for reading lessons | Local storage | Until you clear your browser data |
Stripe cookies, such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid | Stripe, on its own payment page | Fraud prevention and secure payment | Cookie | Up to 1 year |
The payment page is hosted by Stripe on its own domain and is covered by Stripe's privacy policy. Fonts are served from this website, so no font provider receives your address.
Measurement and advertising, only with your consent
Measurement would tell us, in aggregate, which pages are read and where visitors leave, so we can improve them. Advertising would tell platforms such as Meta, Google or TikTok that an advert led to a purchase, so we stop paying for adverts that do not work.
Today, no measurement or advertising tool is installed on this website. The banner exists so that your consent is collected properly before any is added. This page will list each tool, its provider and its duration on the day it is installed.
Changing your choice
Open the at any time. The same link is at the bottom of every page. A new choice takes effect immediately. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking Stripe's cookies will stop the payment page from working.
We ask again every 12 months
Your choice is remembered for 12 months. After that the banner appears again.
